Caritas Big Sleep Out 2026

Caritas Big Sleep Out

Where and when:

Saturday 10 October 2026 – World Homelessness Day – at Old Bedians sports centre, Millgate Lane, Didsbury, Manchester, M20 5QX, from 7pm on Saturday 10 October to 6am on Sunday 11 October.

About the event:

Sleep under the stars to raise money for local families and individuals experiencing homelessness.

This event has always been a popular part of the Caritas Salford calendar, and after a rest year or two, we are pleased to be running an in-person event once again.

So, dust off your sleeping bag, and get ready to wrap up warm, whilst we spend the night in the great outdoors for a great cause.

Did you know?

Every penny raised will help to prevent homelessness or to support those who are already homeless. And a donation of £1,500 could sponsor a room for a whole year in a Caritas supported accommodation project, meaning that someone is not forced to sleep rough or ‘sofa surf’.
