Raise money

Caritas can’t transform lives without the support of people like you. From running a marathon to holding a cake sale, there are lots of ways you can raise money. And no matter how large or small, whatever you do makes all the difference in the lives of people experiencing poverty, homelessness, disadvantage and isolation.

For example, you could be helping to furnish accommodation that will provide shelter for a young parent and baby or someone who has been rough sleeping; or advice and support for someone worrying about their bills; or meaningful activities that reduce isolation, improve someone’s health and increase their chances of securing work.

“I’d like to thank you for all your help recently. I was in a really hard place but I’ve come out of it now and I couldn’t have done it without you.” Person accessing Caritas services.

So, whether you’re looking for fundraising ideas or need help planning, promoting and running your fundraising event, we’ve got all the advice and resources you need on how to raise money for charity in a fun, safe and legal way and smash your fundraising target.
