AJ Bell Great Manchester 10k Run

Downham sponsored hike

Fresh air and great company!

A 6-mile scenic circular sponsored hike in Lancashire along the delightful Downham Trail, taking place on 5 September 2026. This is an undulating route with the potential for expansive views from the summit of Beacon Fell.

Join the Caritas Salford Big Sleep Out

Join us on Saturday 10 October 2026 – World Homelessness Day – as we sleep under the stars to raise money for local families and individuals experiencing homelessness.
This event has always been a popular part of the Caritas Salford calendar, and after a rest year or two, we would like to run an in-person event once again.
More details will follow once numbers are confirmed.  For now, dust off your sleeping bag, and get ready to wrap up warm, whilst we spend the night in the great outdoors for a great cause.

The Caritas St Joseph’s Penny appeal

For over 100 years, young people have collected their pennies and loose change during Lent to raise funds for children in families less fortunate than themselves.  Old and young, if you’d like to do the same at any time of the year, we will bring your coins back into circulation for a good cause.
