St Joseph’s Mission to Deaf People

We believe and acknowledge that Deaf People are a cultural and linguistic (Sign Language users) minority group and are committed to providing for the spiritual and pastoral needs of Deaf People of all faiths and none, particularly those who are profoundly D/deaf, including adults, and children and their families.

We recognise also the temporal challenges which more forcefully impact on Deaf people and have widened our brief to embrace the social welfare concerns of our community.

All members of the Deaf community are welcome, including hearing people such as parents, spouses, family members and friends.

We also welcome enquiries from anyone interested in learning more about the Deaf community, British Sign Language, or who would love to get in touch with other ideas or information.

Donate now to help us continue providing support to local Deaf people and their families:
