Caritas House accommodation project

Caritas House in Manchester provides high quality, single room accommodation with 24-hour support, for 19 single homeless men.

The team provides a pathway out of homelessness with support for residents to improve their health and wellbeing and to develop their independent living skills before moving into their own tenancies.

Residents can take part in on-site activities and be linked in with other support services, education, training and volunteering opportunities.  We aim to provide a psychologically informed environment where people feel safe and valued and have the time and space to develop their confidence and achieve their goals.

“This place is really nice and tidy too. I can wash my clothes with ease now. I’m not used to this quiet environment because I’ve always lived in a very noisy neighbourhood, but now I can focus and relax well. I like it here thank you.”
