This year, as part of our Advent appeal, we’re asking how you will Bee There for others this Christmas.

Here, one of our residents at our young parent accommodation in Blackburn tells us more about what the festive season means to them…

What does Christmas mean to you?

“Time spent with family and friends.  Being nice and showing respect and gratitude.”

What does Caritas young parent accommodation mean to you and how does it help you?

“The staff are nice and make the place child friendly with a Christmas atmosphere, and activities with all the residents together.”

What would your wish be for Christmas this year?

“To see my daughter smiling and to have a healthy pregnancy and make my partner smile.”

How will you ‘Bee There’ for others this Christmas?

“I’ll sit and listen to people if they are going through anything.”

Why is it so important people help charities like ours at Christmas?

“You never know someone’s situation until you experience it yourself.”

If you’ve not yet seen our Bee There Advent appeal animation – you can watch it below now, and please donate if you can

Every penny really does help us support more local people like those our teams work alongside in Greater Manchester and Lancashire.

Thank you.
