“Everyone deserves a good Christmas, even the homeless”

“Family and friends.”
“A noisy, friendly environment.”
What does Red Door mean to you and how does it help?
“Red Door have supported me from day one, feeding me, helping me off the street, got me an appointment about health and wellbeing. Bless everyone at Red Door.”

“A friendly and supportive place to come.”
“It’s my social group.”
What would your wish be for Christmas this year?
“A happy time for everyone.”
“For homelessness to end for everyone.”
“For everyone to be happy.”
“More support for homeless people and more people being kind.”
“War to end.”
How will you ‘Bee There’ for others this Christmas?
“Helping out if I can.”
“An open ear and time spent at Christmas lunch.”
“To listen and help someone if needed.”
“Helping others – and I’m good at giving hugs!”
Why is it so important people help charities like ours at Christmas?
“Because they help people in need, and give food with plenty of brews and juice, or just a friendly face and you can make friends.”
“So they can help and support people who need it.”
“So the good work they do can continue with improvements where help is needed.”
“So everyone can get help like me.”
“Christmas comes with expectations beyond the basics. And everyone deserves a good Christmas, even the homeless.”
If you’ve not yet seen our Bee There Advent appeal animation – you can watch it below now, and please donate if you can.
Every penny really does help us support more local people like those our teams work alongside in Greater Manchester and Lancashire.
Thank you.
