If the Great Manchester Run last weekend inspired you to get moving, or if you’re looking for a new challenge, then join the Caritas Salford race team in 2025 and help us to alleviate family poverty and homelessness in Greater Manchester and Lancashire.

Whether you’re looking for a half marathon or 10k place for yourself, or you’re part of a group at work or in the community and want to join us as a team, then we’d love to hear from you as we make our charity plans for 2025. We will support you every step of the way.

Patrick O’Dowd, our director, said: “We’re hugely grateful to everyone who took part in the Great Manchester Run this week for our charity and know from the people who access our services the real difference the money they raise from their effort makes.

“Real lives are literally changed with every step that people take as they carry out activities like the Great Manchester Run and we’d love as many people as possible to join us for next year’s event.

“There’s plenty of time to train and our team is here to support with advice and information too. Please do get in touch if you’d like to be part of it and help us to continue working alongside people at a time of crisis to help them to change their lives with dignity.”
