About the session:
Run by our accessibility coordinator, Minna, this session will ask:
- Do you understand what neurodiversity is?
- Do you think you or a person you know may be neurodiverse?
- Do you operate in a way that is accessible to all people?
- Do you understand your responsibilities towards accessibility?
The session will include:
- Considering neurodiversity: what it is and what it is not.
- Disclosure: do we need to know?
- Barriers: what causes any perceived barriers and how can we make changes?
- Accessibility: the dignity of the individual
- Questions and answers: a change to ask without judgement
