Service Christmas opening times

Below is information on our service opening times over the Christmas period 2025:
Cornerstone:
Open as usual on Monday to Fridays over the festive period, apart from Friday 26 December 2025 and Thursday 1 January 2026 when the centre will be closed. On Christmas Day – Thursday 25 December – the centre will be open from 9.30am to 1pm serving breakfast and lunch.
Red Door:
Open as usual on Monday to Fridays over the festive period with the exception of Thursday 25 December 2025 and Thursday 1 January 2026 when the centre will be closed. On Boxing Day – Friday 26 December – the centre will be open from 9.30am to 1pm serving breakfast and lunch.
Homeless service accommodation projects:
All our accommodation projects will remain open throughout the Christmas and New Year operating our usual service with some extra support and appropriate celebrations for our residents.
The Lalley centre, community pantry and allotment:
Lalley centre: Appointments only between Monday 22 December 2025 and Wednesday 24 December 2025; from Monday 29 December 2025 to Wednesday 31 December and on Friday 2 January 2026. Reopens as usual from Monday 5 January 2026.
Community pantry: Last pantry session on Friday 19 December 2025. Re-opens on Wednesday 7 January 2026.
Community allotment: Last open allotment session will be Thursday 18 December 2025. Allotment reopens as usual from Monday 5 January 2026.
Aspire:
Classes run until the week beginning 15 December 2025 and restart from the week beginning Monday 5 January 2026.
Resettlement programmes:
Support will continue via email or emergency calls throughout the Christmas period, with the exception of Thursday 25 December 2025, Friday 26 December 2025 and Thursday 1 January 2026
School service:
Closed from Friday 19 December 2025. Reopens Monday 5 January 2026.

For donations and fundraising queries:
The last day for donating food and/or supermarket shopping vouchers for the Lalley community pantry is Thursday 18 December 2025 please.
New items of clothing or underwear, gift sets and boxes of chocolates for adults attending Cornerstone, Redd Door and residents of our accommodation projects in Blackburn and Manchester, for Christmas dinners and parties would be gratefully received before Monday 22 December 2025 please so that we can have them wrapped by our elves or organised as prizes. Donations of individual items of toiletries (not wrapped or boxed please) are used all year round and can delivered after New Year when services reopen. Thank you.

Our fundraisers will also be available by telephone, apart from on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day (0161 817 2250, press 1 for fundraising), or on email at fundraising@caritassalford.org.uk if you’d like us to call you on our return or would like a freepost envelope sending out to you.
