Come to a special author book signing this March

Local and church history enthusiasts and people interested in learning more about the Catholic history of Greater Manchester and Lancashire this Jubilee Year will be excited to hear about a special book signing event happening in March.

The event, which will take place on Monday 3 March at St Patrick’s Church in Collyhurst, will see author Monsignor John Allen talking about two books which he has written and that are being sold in aid of our charity.

The books, ‘A Popular History of the Diocese of Salford’, and ‘Pilgrims of Hope: Out and About in Salford Diocese’, are on sale now via our website:

At the special event, Monsignor Allen will be reading from the books, taking questions and will also be happy to sign any copies.  Books will also be available to purchase on the day.
