Supporting Caritas – Michael

Leaving a gift in your Will is a really simple way to support Caritas. This supporter has done just that, in line with his family motto: ‘be honest, be loyal, be kind’.

Even a gift of just 1%, after your loved ones have been provided for would make a huge difference, and it’s really simple to do. Your lasting legacy will ensure we can continue supporting local people experiencing homelessness, poverty, disadvantage and isolation.

Michael has kindly left us a gift in his Will. He said:
“I have five sons and our family motto is ‘be honest, be loyal, be kind’.

“The kids grew up encouraged to always think of the needs of others and to stand up for what’s right.

“It makes sense to me then, that in my Will, once our family is taken care of, that a percentage is given to charity. I’ve seen for myself the amazing work going on locally at Caritas, so I had no hesitation in pledging my gift to them.”

Where your money goes

It costs £12,000 per day to provide the level of service and support being delivered in Caritas projects across Greater Manchester and Lancashire.

Which means that everyone who needs it is able to access urgent practical help required, as well as any advice and support that will help them for the long term.

Every single donation matters because it means nobody is turned away or left behind.

These are just some examples of how your donation could be used to provide critical support – right now – or help someone begin to transform their own life with dignity.
