Supporting Bryony*
Bryony moved to our Young Parents’ Accommodation service with her baby.
She was referred due to domestic violence in her relationship with the father of her child.

She was supported to care for her child and engaged with a parenting assessment, working through a safe relationship programme with her family support worker.
Staff observed positive care and interaction with her baby, and she distanced herself completely from her ex-partner, before moving from our accommodation to her own tenancy.
Bryony was encouraged to keep in contact with her mother who wanted to support her. This relationship flourished and by the time she moved out they were in a very good place.

Where your money goes
It costs £12,000 per day to provide the level of service and support being delivered in Caritas projects across Greater Manchester and Lancashire.
Which means that everyone who needs it is able to access urgent practical help required, as well as any advice and support that will help them for the long term.
Every single donation matters because it means nobody is turned away or left behind.
These are just some examples of how your donation could be used to provide critical support – right now – or help someone begin to transform their own life with dignity.
