As a Support Worker you will work as a member of the team providing support, supervision and practical assistance to young women who are vulnerable and their children in residential accommodation.
You will need to have a sound knowledge of the effects of homelessness, needs of young parents and the support required to improve outcomes for young children and their parents.
This role involves shift working, including unsociable hours, sleep-ins and weekend working.
An NVQ3 in Health & Social Care (Adults) or equivalent is desirable.
