SUPPORT WORKER (MORNING STAR & EMERGENCY ACCOMMODATION)
37.5 hours per week
SCP5-6 £19,572 – £19,964 per annum
BASED IN MANCHESTER

As a Support Worker you work as part of a team to provide support within our Supported Accommodation hostel to residents who are experiencing vulnerability.  You will provide practical and emotional support to residents that will promote independence and will assist and support other involved parties, to ensure positive outcomes for all residents.

You will also contribute to the overall running of the project which includes providing practical assistance to residents to ensure that they fulfil the obligations of the tenancy. This could include helping with benefit applications, providing inductions into how to use kitchen or laundry equipment as well as dealing with occasional nuisance or non-compliance with the terms of the resident agreement.

Experience of working with vulnerable, homeless people or disadvantaged groups in a similar setting is essential.  Additionally you must have experience of providing housing support in a similar role.

The hours of the role will be Monday to Friday from 8:30am – 4:30pm.
