Cornerstone Day Centre is a community centre for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness based in Hulme, Manchester.  The Centre has recently undergone extensive building work and the service has been re-launched post Covid and we are now recruiting Project Workers to help support the re-modelled service.

The Project Workers will work on a co-production basis using strength-based approaches with people who visit Cornerstone to design, deliver and evaluate the service and ensure that it is meeting their needs.

The Centre aims to enable people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to improve their housing situation and wellbeing through providing services which meet immediate basic needs, promote mental health and wellbeing, enable people to access health and other support services and to take up education, training, volunteering opportunities and employment, as a means of sustaining positive housing outcomes.

You will be enthusiastic, energetic, organised, IT literate and have great communication skills with a customer service ethos. You will have experience of working with volunteers or in a community setting with people experiencing homelessness or poverty and be passionate about making a difference to people’s lives.
