Charity Shop & Community Drop-In Service

Our Bolton charity shop is a friendly place where you will receive service with a smile.

Our friendly volunteers are hand to support you, and we sell a wide range of items including children and adult’s clothing, household items, CDs, DVDs and a large selection of piety items. Religious items, such as cards for confirmations or funerals, and statues, can be bought in the shop or we can help you choose and order from the catalogues we have available.

The shop also has a community drop-in which is open at the same time as the shop. Located at the rear of the ground floor, we have reasonably priced refreshments including, tea, coffee, toast, soup, teacakes and snacks. Purchases in the shop are not necessary to access the community drop-in.

The shop can accept donations made of good quality items, dropped off during opening times.

Please do not leave anything outside of the shop.

We can sometimes also collect items from you with prior arrangements so please get in touch to find out more.

“I have frequented the shop at Caritas for several years now…I have found the staff to be friendly and they will always have a chat with the customers. On occasions, I have seen the staff deal with many customers who have personal problems such as housing or financial. The shop and the staff are a credit to Bolton.”
