Lalley Allotment

Lalley Community Allotment, also known as Saint Joseph’s Allotment is part of the Lalley Welcome Centre. We are situated behind St. Malachy’s Primary School where we grow fruit and vegetables for our foodbank, volunteers and the wider community. You can explore the world of plants and fungi and learn how to grow anything from potatoes through sweetcorn to non-native plants like yakon and many more. No previous experience is needed!

We also have a garden space where our aim is to provide a space for mental health and well-being. Apart from gardening you can also get involved with DIY projects, arts and crafts or just enjoy a cup of tea or cofee and biscuits.  We aim to create a place of refuge from any form of negative thoughts or from the chaos of this fast paced world. We do that by FRIENDSHIPS, FUN & locally grown, tasty FOOD.
Why not come and give it a try?
