Frequently asked questions.

How do I make a BACS transfer?

Please email fundraising@caritassalford.org.uk so that we can provide you with these details safely on letter headed paper.  To make a donation online, please visit https://www.caritassalford.org.uk/donate-3/

Do you still accept a cheque?

Although there are costs to the charity in the administration associated with processing cheques, they are still welcome.  You can make a donation by sending a cheque made payable to Caritas Diocese of Salford and send it to us at:

Caritas Salford Finance Team (and marked with the specific campaign or cause, where applicable) Cathedral Centre,  3 Ford Street,  Salford  M3 6DP.

Are you taking donations of items at the moment?
We do not have a great deal of storage, so we really appreciate it if you check first with us before bringing anything to our centres.  For an up-to-date list of items required, please email fundraising@caritassalford.org.uk or call 0161 817 2285.

How do I go about Gift Aiding my donation when I send a cheque or cash?

Gift Aid means that for every pound you donate, Caritas Salford will receive an extra 25p from HM Revenue & Customs, as all charities can reclaim tax on gifts.  So, at no extra cost to you, your donation can go further.  For example, a gift of £10 can be turned into £12.50 and it won’t cost you another penny.  To allow us to claim Gift Aid please download, complete and return the following form with your cheque.  Gift Aid Form

How do I set up a Just Giving page for my fundraising idea?

Please go to https://www.justgiving.com/caritassalford and start your own fundraising page and campaign to raise money for us today.
