Our Church as a Dementia Friendly Church – Event April 5th book now

dementia1Welcoming people with dementia and their families

Together, we will explore our role in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for people with dementia and their carers in the context of our Parish and Deanery Community.  Using the newly created on-line toolkit created by Caritas Social Action Network, we will look at   how we can include people with dementia and their carers in the life of our Parish and Deanery, and dementia friendly prayer and liturgy.  We will also focus on our outreach to local residential and nursing homes.
