If you are a regular reader of the Catholic Times, you may have noticed over the past six months a series of articles by members of staff from various CSAN-member charities. Caritas Diocese of Salford has been no exception, with three articles published so far in 2019 about the work with do across our diocese.
The most recent offering was from Catholic Social Teaching Trainer Kathryn Ansley, who writes about her work on the Plater-Trust-funded Lazarus Project. Kath’s work is designed to help our beneficiaries to ‘rise up out of desperate situations’, and her article explains how this has been hugely benefited by keeping Catholic Social Teaching, “The Catholic Church’s best kept secret” at its heart. Kathryn’s article, seen below, will appear in this weekend’s edition of the Catholic Times, which goes on sale tomorrow in Cathedral Centre Books and parishes across the diocese.
