Introduction |
The School Social Work Team contributes to the welfare of children and young people by working directly with them, their parents or carers and their school. We offer a responsive service to primary, secondary and sixth form colleges that is individually tailored to meet the needs of the school and its community.
There are many reasons why a child may not reach his or her full potential. There could be difficulties in the family, the school or in the community. Their parents may be beset by difficulties, their communities could be deprived of facilities, and their schooling may be disrupted.
At Caritas Diocese of Salford, we believe in the right of every child to live a full existence and experience the richness of life. Our dedicated team of social workers help children to do just this.
