Residential children's home |

Our residential home, contracted by the Local Authority, cares for children who can for various reasons’, no longer live with their family. The purpose of children's homes are to keep young people safe, give them consistent positive affirmation, boundaries and routines, support them in accessing education, promote their health and wellbeing, and provide better quality of life.
We have a long established tradition of providing residential care to children. Our staff teams respond positively to new challenges and demands that are associated with children with complex needs. Along with that, our staffing ratios have increased to ensure that each child in our care has the maximum personal and professional support needed to meet their individual needs. Our service is particularly recognised for its good educational achievements, and all the homes have had very good inspection reports with excellent outcomes for general care and activities.
We offer places for 5 young people in our residential home. Every young person has their own room within a homely environment, where we aim to replicate as closely as possible a warm family setting. Our skilled staff:
- Work with young people who display challenging behaviour.
- Work with young people with a learning disability.
- Make relationships with young people and their families on short breaks.
- Work through substance misuse or mental health issues.
