Hosted at St Malachy’s RC Primary School in Collyhurst, the service brings together schools, parishes and the local community with Caritas in an area of considerable social deprivation. A team of paid staff and volunteers provide one-to-one advice and access to other support and welfare services. Professionals who offer their services include debt advisers, employment consultants and elected representatives among others. A valued ‘parallel’ service has been the distribution of food collected from local supermarkets or via the FareShare network.
